Canadian College Italy (CCI) サマーアカデミー
Canadian College Italyは、1995年創立のイタリア・オンタリオ州認可の全寮制私立学校です 。夏の4週間、イタリアの歴史と文化に浸りながら、カナダの高校卒業単位を取得できる「トランスフォーマティブ（変革をもたらす）」な教育体験を提供しています 。
ロケーションと学習環境
プログラムの拠点は、イタリアのアブルッツォ州にあるランチャーノ（Lanciano）という歴史ある美しい町です 。山と海（アドリア海）に挟まれた安全で絵画のような街並みがキャンパスとなり、生徒は歴史的中心部にあるユニークな寮で生活します 。
対象年齢と教育内容
対象: 9年生から12年生（高校生）までの男女共学 。
取得単位: オンタリオ州教育省が認定・毎年検査を行っている正規の高校卒業単位（1クレジット）を取得できます 。この単位はカナダ全土および米国の大学進学要件として認められます 。
主なコース: 初級イタリア語、英語、写真、体育など、需要に基づいた科目が開講されます 。
指導: 経験豊富なオンタリオ州認定の教師が、少人数制クラスできめ細やかな指導を行います
プログラムの特色とアクティビティ
このプログラムは、単なる勉強だけでなく「ミニ・ギャップイヤー（休学期間）」のような成長体験を重視しています 。
教育旅行: 週末には、ローマへの主要な旅行や、フィレンツェでの2泊など、イタリア各地を巡るガイド付きツアーが行われます 。
アクティビティ: 山でのハイキング、アドリア海沿岸でのサイクリング、ビーチでの午後など、イタリアの自然を満喫する機会が豊富です 。
自立心の育成: 自宅を離れ、24時間体制の専門スタッフ（Residence Dons）による安全な管理のもとで共同生活を送ることで、生徒は自立心と思慮深さを養います 。

Canadian College Italy (CCI) Summer Academy
Founded in 1995, Canadian College Italy is a private boarding school accredited by the Province of Ontario, Canada. For four weeks each summer, we offer a “transformative” educational experience that allows students to earn Canadian high school credits while immersing themselves in Italian history and culture.
Location and Learning Environment
The program is based in Lanciano, a beautiful historic town in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Nestled between the mountains and the Adriatic Sea, this safe and picturesque town serves as the campus, and students live in unique dormitories located in the historic center.
Age Group and Curriculum
Eligibility: Co-ed students in Grades 9 through 12 (high school).
Credits Earned: Students can earn one official high school credit recognized and annually inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education. This credit is accepted as a requirement for university admission across Canada and in the United States.
Main Courses: Courses such as Beginner Italian, English, Photography, and Physical Education are offered based on student demand.
Instruction: Experienced, Ontario-certified teachers provide personalized instruction in small classes.
Program Highlights and Activities
This program emphasizes not just academic study, but also a growth experience akin to a “mini-gap year.”
Educational Trips: On weekends, guided tours take students throughout Italy, including a major trip to Rome and a two-night stay in Florence.
Activities: There are abundant opportunities to enjoy Italy’s natural beauty, such as hiking in the mountains, cycling along the Adriatic coast, and afternoons at the beach.
Developing Independence: By living away from home and sharing a residence under the safe supervision of professional staff (Residence Dons) available 24 hours a day, students cultivate independence and thoughtfulness.
