本プログラムは、イングランドにある名門寄宿学校マルバーン・カレッジ（Malvern College）が主催する、学習・冒険・友情を柱としたサマープログラムです 。単なる外部プログラムではなく、カレッジのコミュニティの一環として運営されており、学校が大切にしている「卓越性、配慮、機会」という価値観を反映しています 。
対象年齢と開催期間
対象年齢: 9歳から16歳まで 。
開催期間: 2026年7月5日（日）から8月2日（日）まで 。
滞在期間: 基本は最低2週間からですが、7月5日または7月26日到着の場合に限り1週間の参加も可能です 。到着・出発は毎週日曜日に行われます 。
ロケーションと施設
イギリスの中心部に位置する、風光明媚なマルバーン・ヒルズ（特別自然美観地域）に囲まれた広大なキャンパスで開催されます 。
施設: 歴史的な建築物と、近代的な教室、優れたスポーツ施設、パフォーマンス空間が融合した学習環境が整っています 。
アクセス: ロンドンのパディントン駅から直通列車で約2時間強と、主要都市への接続も良好です 。
学習内容（選択制モジュール）
生徒は毎週、午前と午後に一つずつ、自分の興味に合わせて2つのモジュールを選択します 。
EAL（英語学習）: プロジェクトベースの実践的な授業で、全レベルに対応しています 。
STEM: ロケット設計、コーディング、持続可能なエンジニアリングなどのハンズオン活動を行います 。
パフォーミング・アーツ: ドラマやダンスを学び、週末には全校生徒の前でショーを披露します 。
アウトドア・パースーツ: カヤック、マウンテンバイク、クライミングなど、自然の中での挑戦を通じて自信を育みます 。
スポーツ & クリエイティブ・アーツ: テニスやバスケットボールなどのスポーツ 、または陶芸や木工などの芸術活動から選べます 。
生活環境とエクスカーション
宿泊: 年齢と性別で分けられた伝統的な寄宿舎（ボーディングハウス）に滞在し、ハウスペアレンツが24時間体制でサポートします 。食事は新しく改装されたダイニングホールで、栄養バランスの取れた食事が提供されます 。
遠足: 目玉となるロンドンへの全日旅行（バッキンガム宮殿やロンドン・アイなど）のほか 、週末にはバーミンガムやブリストルなどへの遠足も含まれます 。平日の夜にはアイススケートやボウリングなどのアクティビティも用意されています 。
トラベルサポート
ロンドン・ヒースロー空港およびバーミンガム空港では、公式の到着・出発日にスタッフによる「ミート・アンド・グリート」サービス（無料送迎）が提供されており、一人で旅をする子供（UM）へのサポートも万全です 。

Malvern College Summer Program (Quality English)
Program Overview and Objectives
This program is a summer camp organized by Malvern College, a prestigious boarding school in England, with a focus on learning, adventure, and friendship. It is not merely an external program but is run as an integral part of the college community, reflecting the values of “excellence, care, and opportunity” that the school holds dear.
Age Range and Dates
Age Range: 9 to 16 years old.
Dates: Sunday, July 5, 2026, to Sunday, August 2, 2026.
Length of Stay: The minimum stay is typically two weeks, but one-week stays are available only for arrivals on July 5 or July 26. Arrival and departure take place every Sunday.
Location and Facilities
The program takes place on a spacious campus located in the heart of England, surrounded by the scenic Malvern Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
Facilities: The campus offers a learning environment that blends historic architecture with modern classrooms, excellent sports facilities, and performance spaces.
Access: The campus is easily accessible from major cities, with a direct train ride of just over two hours from London’s Paddington Station.
Course Content (Elective Modules)
Each week, students select two modules—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—based on their interests.
EAL (English as an Additional Language): Project-based, practical lessons suitable for all levels.
STEM: Hands-on activities such as rocket design, coding, and sustainable engineering.
Performing Arts: Students study drama and dance, and perform in a show for the entire school on weekends.
Outdoor Pursuits: Students build confidence through challenges in nature, such as kayaking, mountain biking, and rock climbing.
Sports & Creative Arts: Students can choose from sports like tennis and basketball, or arts activities such as pottery and woodworking.
Living Environment and Excursions
Accommodation: Students stay in traditional boarding houses, separated by age and gender, with house parents providing 24-hour support. Meals consist of nutritionally balanced meals served in the newly renovated dining hall.
Excursions: In addition to the highlight—a full-day trip to London (including Buckingham Palace and the London Eye)—weekend excursions to destinations such as Birmingham and Bristol are also included. On weekday evenings, activities such as ice skating and bowling are also available.
Travel Support
At London Heathrow Airport and Birmingham Airport, a “Meet and Greet” service (free transfer) is provided by staff on official arrival and departure days, ensuring comprehensive support for unaccompanied minors (UMs).
