多彩なスペシャリスト・プログラム
通常の「Classic Programme（英語＋アクティビティ）」に加え、2026年は以下の専門コースが提供されます。
English & Football: プロフェッショナルなコーチングを受けながら英語を学ぶ（14-17歳、6/28 – 7/31）
English & Theatre: 演劇を通じて表現力と自信を養う（サウサンプトンにて実施）。
プロジェクトベースの学習スタイル
ルイス・スクールの授業は、教科書をなぞるだけではなく、「プロジェクトベース」で進められます。
週15時間の英語レッスン: 毎週のテーマ（例：環境、メディア、リーダーシップ）に基づき、リサーチやプレゼンテーションを行います。
ソフトスキルの向上: チームワーク、問題解決、公衆演説など、21世紀に役立つライフスキルの習得に重点を置いています。
充実のエクスカーション（遠足）
サウサンプトンの良好な立地を活かし、イギリスの主要観光地への遠足が毎週組み込まれています
全日遠足: ロンドン、オックスフォード、バース、ストーンヘンジなど。
半日遠足: 近隣のポーツマス（歴史的な造船所）やボーンマス（ビーチ）など。
24時間のケアと安全対策
「Welfare（福利厚生・安全管理）」に非常に力を入れており、ジュニアプログラムには24時間対応のサポート体制が整っています。また、小規模な学校であるため、スタッフが生徒一人ひとりの顔と名前を把握しており、初めての海外でも安心して過ごせる環境です。

Lewis School of English Summer Program
Founded in 1976, Lewis School of English is a language school headquartered in Southampton, in the south of England. Accredited by the British Council, the school is highly regarded for its family-run, welcoming atmosphere and high-quality support, particularly in its junior study abroad programs and homestay arrangements with teachers.

Diverse Specialist Programs
In addition to the standard “Classic Programme (English + Activities),” the following specialized courses will be offered in 2026:
English & Football: Learn English while receiving professional coaching (Ages 14–17, June 28 – July 31)
English & Theatre: Develop expressiveness and confidence through theater (held in Southampton).
Project-Based Learning
Classes at Lewis School are not limited to textbook-based instruction but are conducted using a “project-based” approach.
15 hours of English lessons per week: Students conduct research and give presentations based on weekly themes (e.g., the environment, media, leadership).
Soft Skills Development: We place a strong emphasis on acquiring life skills useful for the 21st century, such as teamwork, problem-solving, and public speaking.
Extensive Excursions
Taking advantage of Southampton’s excellent location, weekly excursions to major UK tourist destinations are included.
Full-day excursions: London, Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge, and more.
Half-day excursions: Nearby Portsmouth (historic shipyards) and Bournemouth (beaches), among others.
24-Hour Care and Safety Measures
We place a strong emphasis on “Welfare (Student Well-being and Safety Management),” and our junior programs feature a 24-hour support system. Additionally, because we are a small school, our staff knows each student by face and name, creating an environment where students can feel at ease even on their first trip abroad.
